The Newb Review will be present at this year’s MCM Expo in London, on Friday 27th – Sunday 29th May. The show will bring some of the summer’s hottest Movies, TV Shows, Comics, and Video Games, directly to members of the public for the first time.

The event is sponsored by Warner Brothers’ soon to be released blockbuster Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds. The show is also boasting the attendance of a number of the cast of Futurama (including Phil Lamarr, who voiced Green Lantern in the Justice League animated series), a panel dedicated to the next X-Men movie, X-Men First Class, and appearances from high profile comic book figures Warren Ellis (The Authority, Nextwave: Agents of Hate) Kieran Gillan (Uncanny X-Men), and the good people from Rebellion, Publishers of Judge Dredd and 2000AD.

As for the games, the MCM Expo has partnered with our friends at Gamespot UK to bring you playable demos of some of this year’s hottest games, including THQ’s Red Faction: Armageddon, Capcom’s Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Ubisoft’s Child of Eden, Square Enix’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Atari’s Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale, EA’s Shadows of the Damned and Epic Games’ Gears of War 3.

Not every game that will be at the show has been announced yet, and we have heard that there will be a few special surprises in order for attendees that will be revealed closer to the time. We have been assured that there will be a number of tickets available to purchase on the day, however, if you do plan on attending we recommend that you buy your tickets in advance from the MCM Expo official site, which can be found here: http://www.londonexpo.com/faq/tickets/

Don’t worry if you cannot attend, we will be on the show floor all weekend, and will be bringing you a number of photos and articles based on what we find there. Expect our coverage to start trickling out next weekend, and we hope to see you there!
